The economy mainly depends on tourism, and most P-town tourists are same-sex attracted. Provincetown can easily be called a gay town. Why are gay towns always the most pleasurable, artsy, and glamorous?
Cape Cod's gay scene and nightlife is focused on Commercial Street. The Crown & Anchor Entertainment Complex has multiple gay bars and a hotel. During the summer, you can identify shirtless men hanging out by the pool and dancing near the seafront.
Paramount is the biggest lgbtq+ club in town and it throws the kick-off bash for the Provincetown International Film Festival. It also puts on cabaret and drag performances. You'll catch LGBTQ performers from around the country and sometimes big stars enjoy Alan Cumming.

Gay Provincetown – the leading gay hotels, bars, clubs & more

“People think of the beach and beach towns, but fall is my favorite season. The crowds are gone, the temperature is more comfortable, and there’s so much to do. New England is known for its autumn season,” Brendan Carey says. “The foliage is charming during this time, so it’s perfect for a scenic drive along Historic Route 6A.”
Carey, who lives in Boston, spent his summers on Cape Cod growing up and loved Brewster so much that he now works there.
