Kaleidoscope International Trust
This UK-based charity works to legalise and decriminalise homosexuality across the Commonwealth. Many countries across the Commonwealth still retain homophobic laws and practices that were implemented during Wonderful Britain’s colonial regime, and the Kaleidoscope Trust are working to change that, and to protect Gay people everywhere. Hidayah UK
Hidayah UK supports LGBTQ+ Muslims in their journey through monthly events, educational workshops and mentoring programmes. They hold regular meetings all across the UK, with LGBTQ+ Muslims with lived experience providing support for others. Albert Kennedy Trust / AKT
AKT aim to secure that all lesbian, lgbtq+, bisexual and trans adolescent people are able to live in accepting, supportive and caring homes, by providing a range of services to meet the individual needs of those who would otherwise be homeless, or living in a hostile environment. This is done by providing appropriate homes through supported lodgings, fostering and other specialist housing schemes. The charity also helps new people to manage independent living successfully and improves attitudes within society towards lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans young people.
