Stolen Fatherhood
May 2014 marks approximately two years since I publicly came out of the closet and began to live my original, God-given life as a gay man. The past two years have been tumultuous and peaceful at the same time. As I reflect over the past two years, I can report some great progress as well as some not-so-good progress. Progress isn’t always positive, but its progress nonetheless.
My bond with my three siblings is nonexistent. My bond with the “church” is just about nonexistent. Strange being that I involved my entire life to church ministry at one time. Let me be clear… when you “cross” the “church,” there is no longer mercy and grace. That is replaced with judgement and “loving the sinner and HATING the sin.” [my emphasis on hating] Ironic that the “cross” teaches just the opposite of that. If you don’t upright against it, yo

JACKSON, Tenn. (Christian Examiner) -- Talk show host Montel Williams compared opponents of gay marriage to ISIS and the Taliban on social media over the weekend, and then doubled down when challenged on his logic.
Williams made the comments Friday, hours after the Supreme Court legalized gay marriage. On Facebook he criticized those on the "uber-right," which apparently is a synonym for most if not all social conservatives. In the same context he referenced Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council. Williams said that "hate, ignorance, fear and bigotry" had lost when the Supreme Court handed down its decision.
"In its standard fashion, the uber-right that so many of us on the center right find to be akin to the American version of ?#?ISIS or the Taliban, frezilly predicted the cease of the world, including several members of Congress, who with all the style and hyperbole of an ISIS recruiting video, yes, let's start with Louie Gohmert, proved they lacked the mental fortitude and emotional stability to hold elected office. By Kevin Jackson, Christian Post Writer The president of Exodus International, a Christian group that uses reparative therapy to attempt to alter the sexual orientation of homosexuals, will be speaking among a panel on the Montel Williams show. The program, which will be filmed Wednesday and broadcasted sometime next week, will feature Alan Chambers, an ex-gay, as well as others about homosexuality and the option of change. The subject matter has received much attention more recently following statements from former National Association of Evangelical (NAE) head Ted Haggard affirming that he was completely heterosexual. Haggard had resigned after a former male prostitute alleged the pastor paid him for sex and methamphetamines for three years.
