A Pride flag refers to a flag that represents any segment of the LGBTQ (lesbian, lgbtq+, bisexual, transgender, queer) people. The most recognizable is the Rainbow flag. The LGBTQ community generally celebrates pride, diversity, individuality, and sexuality. The rainbow flag features six horizontal stripes in bright colors from top to bottom: red, orange, yellow, green, cobalt , and purple.

The only LGBTQ+ flag emojis are and . It seems like Headless can add new emojis fairly easily, so I was wondering if we could get some more emojis for other Homosexual identities.

if im organism completely honest, pride flags shouldnt even be emojis.
but if they are, it should only be the rainbow flag. it encompasses every identity in my opinion

but my belief on pride flags is weird so take me with a grain of salt

yeah I have to agree with midinput here I think there should just be ONE flag that represents the whole community, afterall in a way everything else except like Asexual and Aromantic branch off from Lgbtq+ in some way or another

i will also be agreeing with misinput, i don’t see why there needs to be fond 10 different flags that I’m sure that 99% of the forums won’t even bother to operate when they can just keep it the event flag which already does that

As it stands, pride emoji are severely lacking. There are only two options: 🏳️‍🌈 and 🏳️‍⚧️. This is not inclusive enough to represent the LGBTQIA+ community, a diverse people across the world. As such, we have started a campaign for #BiFlagEmoji and #AceFlagEmoji. Read our press release.

Several new emoji are added each year. Identity festival flags are routinely rejected. The transgender pride flag was approved after the fourth attempt. The multi-attracted and asexual pride emoji proposals were both rejected. Unicode can do better.

Clocks are free to convey themselves, but people aren’t.

Paperclips have better representation than people’s sexualities. This needs to change.

I'd love to use the trans flag on my profile, sadly pride flag emojis are rare and very overpriced on the community market.
